Born and raised in Menasha, Wisconsin. Graduated from St Mary High School in 1955 and spent the next four years in the US Army. Served two years in Germany. Sure wish I would have been interested in my roots at that time. Been married 48 years after a whirlwind romance. Met Barb in the morning asked her to marry me that evevening and got married 10 days later.
Once out of service I worked at Gilbert Paper company for 40 years. During that time I held the positon of Union President 17 consecutivce years as well as working my way up to the top paying hourly job.
Besides researching genealogy my other hobby is golf. Didn't start that until 5 years ago but I am emjoying chopping up those fairways. Best part is when you get to golf with one of the Bud girls.
